What if a component shipped in for repair cannot be fixed?

Some items we receive cannot be repaired if we cannot source obsolete parts, has water damage, did not fail due to normal wear and tear, or a previous repair was attempted.  If we stock a recommended replacement, we will forward the information.

Your non-repairable unit will be returned to you.  You will not be charged for the time spent attempting to repair the component.

If you prepaid for the repair that could not be completed, the labor/parts cost will be refunded in full.  If you decide to buy the recommended replacement, the amount prepaid can be applied to the cost of the recommended replacement. We will create a custom listing to make the process as easy as possible.

If you did not prepay for the repair and do not want the recommended replacement, please reply to this message indicating so, and you will be sent a link for the shipping charge to return your unit.

If you receive a link to this message, there will be a link to the recommended replacement in the same message.
