The kit to upgrade your 7" machine to Media 2 software does require you to take the pill off and install the new display harness. You do not have to install a new pill or touchscreen.

In the event electronics are installed incorrectly, they are typically ruined, so we do not accept returns on these products. If you are unsure how to install the control board, we suggest you have a local technician do the installation. If you have problems installing the board, please contact the manufacturer directly. This is designed to be installed by an experienced technician.
