We offer three versions of kits to install a card NFC reader in a working cigarette vending machine. The first version is for a machine that has an existing bill validator that once updated, the only payment method is by a card/NFC. This is the most popular version because it is the cheapest, easy to install, and the vend price can be set to any price desired up to $99.99. The second version of kit is for a machine with an existing validator and when the owner wants to accept cash as well a card payment. The limitations of this kit are that the vend price cannot exceed the current capabilities and the vend price must be in dollar increments. The third version of kits is for machines that were not updated to accept bills. The kits require installation of a sidewall in place of the ACMR.

The options in this listing are for working cigarette machines with a bill validator. Once the kit is installed, a card/NFC reader is the only payment option. A connector on the module kit connects to the harness that originally attached to the validator. Since the validator is no longer needed, it should be removed as it may make mounting the card reader easier. The kit for the Bill Mate includes a mounting plate that fits on the upper window of the Bill Mate.

The installation instructions include information on programming a card reader’s pulse interface attributes but needs to be customized based upon your desired payout. If the installer is not familiar with programming the attributes, we offer this service.

Most cigarette machines have reached their highest possible vend price so updating them to operate with only a credit card / NFC reader will allow them to be priced up to $99.95 per pack. If you want to accept cash and credit/debit cards, this is possible by following these rules: the maximum vend price is determined by the existing electronics and the cost per pack must be in dollar increments.

Option 1 - If your machine is fitted with a Bill Mate 1 or Bill Mate 2, and the kit interfaces with a Nayax Touch, the part number is CC-BILLMATESTOCK-NAYAX.

Option 2 - If your machine is fitted with a Bill Mate 1 or Bill Mate 2, and the kit interfaces with a Cantaloupe G10/11, the part number is CC-BILLMATESTOCK-CANTALOUPE.

Option 3 - If your machine is fitted with a 120V Mars validator (typically Lutech Currency Partner, Revenco, and AP Smoke Shop), the kit part number for a Nayax Touch is CC-CIGMARS12OV-NAYAX

Option 4 - If your machine is fitted with a 120V Mars validator (typically Lutech Currency Partner, Revenco, and AP Smoke Shop), the kit part number is CC-CIGMARS120V-CANTALOUPE

If the person installing is familiar with setting up the attributes for the card reader, you will not need the “Assist Service.” If the installer is not familiar programming the attributes, our “Assist Service” option is recommended. This option is below the drop down menu (Product Options) where you will select your kit.
