The charge for advance replacement components is non-refundable. Customers are responsible for determining if an advance replacement componet will resolve the problem. Once the advance replacement service is ordered, you will be be invoiced for the cost of the component (what we call the core component charge), the advance replacement fee, and shipping costs. Following receipt of the component (which must be an identical model) the customer will receive full credit for the retail value of the core component. The component must be in repairable condition.
We expect to receive the core component within 15 days of the initial order. Please understand that if a core component is not returned promptly, Capital Vending is not able to make sales to other customers that need the same component.
When returning a core component please be sure to include a copy of the invoice so your account can be credited properly. Core units that have been damaged by vandalism, salt water, or abusive handling will not be accepted as a normal trade-in. The customer is responsible for additional charges if any parts have been removed from the returned core component.
If you will be returning your core unit before we ship the advance replacement, please include a copy of the advance replacement invoice with the component. Shipping us you core unit first eliminate the need for the core deposit. If the component has dip switches be sure to note the way they are set.
